These terms govern the use of The Mount School student learning app, website themountschool.in and related parent-facing services (collectively, the “Services”), operated by Geetanjali Educational Trust.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
2. Eligibility & accounts
Student accounts are created by the school. Parents/guardians supervise their child's use and are responsible for safeguarding login credentials. Sharing credentials is not permitted.
3. Permitted use
- Practice tests, mock exams and assignment submissions.
- Learning activities and progress tracking.
- Receiving notifications and academic reports.
- Parent-school communication.
4. Prohibited use
- Reverse engineering, scraping or interfering with the Services.
- Uploading content that is unlawful, abusive or infringes third-party rights.
- Attempting to access accounts or data that do not belong to you.
5. Academic content
All curriculum, question banks, assessments, branding and reports remain the property of Geetanjali Educational Trust or its licensors. They are made available for personal, non-commercial academic use by enrolled students and their parents.
6. Administrative systems
Administrative ERP systems (attendance workflows, finance coordination, staff operations, academic administration and centralized dashboards) are securely managed through browser-based platforms accessible only to authorized personnel and are not part of the student app experience.
7. Service availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance and upgrades may be performed periodically.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is.” The Trust shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the integrity of the Services. Account closure can also be requested through the school administration.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Patna, Bihar.
